Research Interests

Our research interests span inorganic, organic, and materials science

At the heart of all our projects we aim to answer fundamental questions in chemical science. Our research interests span a broad range from main group synthesis to finding applications in catalysis and materials science. We encourage researchers to tailor their projects to their own interests and skills. Below are current areas of invesigation.

Main Group Clusters

We are interested in delineating the fundamental reactivity patterns of clusters featurning p-block elements to find applications in small molecule activation and catalysis.

Catalysts Based on Earth Abundant Elements.

We are interested in developing sustainable catalysts based on earth-abundant elements to promote key organic transformations.

Single-Source Precursors to Materials

We are interested in developing single-source precursors for the solution-state bottom-up synthesis of transition metal and post-transition metal pnictogens and chalogenide nanomorphorolgies.
